My ideal day includes a great cup of coffee, an amazing workout where I really put my muscles to work and get a good sweat. Good breakfast. Being alert. Those mornings where you feel more alert and alive, I love those. That’s my ideal day, to feel alert and alive. If I’ve got the ability to take a walk during, let’s say 1:00 in the afternoon, it’s really ideal. To be able to have clear, concise meetings with the people that I’ve surrounded myself with, that’s ideal.
My ideal day includes a second workout in the evening, getting home when it’s light outside so that my son and daughter can give me a big hug. Them telling me about their day, in a manner in which I know that they had an amazing day. One of the goals that I’ve made for myself recently, is try to instill those things that I do in the evening, my evening rituals, trying to instill them into my kids. Because I know how much better they’ve made my life. I really want to get my kids into a morning ritual, or morning routine so that they can have the same productive day that I do.
